In the Netherlands
The Rabobank Foundation supports national and regional initiatives in the Netherlands that improve the lives of people who are in a disadvantaged position.
The related focus is on promoting independence, self-sufficiency, social activation and quality of life. Examples of groups that receive support include people with a mental or physical disability, homeless people, young people who are having difficulties and people who are unable to read and write.
The projects can roughly be divided into three main themes:
