Rabobank is committed to ensuring that its workforce is as representative of the local society as possible. Rabobank prioritises cultural diversity in its workforce, particularly in large Dutch cities.

Furthermore, Rabobank is committed to ensuring that more women reach the top levels of management. We have set a concrete target that aims to see women holding 10% of the top managerial positions at Rabobank Group at 2008.

The Diversity Knowledge Centre supports our efforts to achieve and maintain a diverse workforce.

Cultural diversity
Rabobank is currently focusing particular attention on the new Dutch citizens market, reflecting our strong interest in the cultural diversity of both our workforce and our clientele.

Rabobank seeks to ensure that its bodies (such as the members’ council, works council and MT), workforce and communications reflect the diversity of its markets and areas of operation.

HRM
Diversity and multiformity are also strategic spearheads from the perspective of Human Resources. There is broad support for the necessity of making diversity a top priority and this is expressed in the 2006 activity plans.

Recruitment
Rabobank maintains contacts with specialised recruitment and selection agencies in the field of diversity. These agencies can search specifically for talented professionals within immigrant target groups.
