Large Corporates focuses on serving large multinational clients. Its clientele is comprised of primarily publicly listed companies and to a lesser degree large privately owned enterprises. Large Corporates serves these clients with an extensive range of core products and services that includes corporate loans, treasury products, debt capital market products, M&A advisory services, equity capital market transactions and financial logistics.

The division’s main objective for the short term is to achieve a strong increase in market share in order to reinforce Rabobank’s position as the number one bank of choice for large corporate clients.

The professionals who comprise the Large Corporates department (61 FTEs) are committed to engaging their clients in a strategic dialogue that is based on solid sector expertise and an in-depth understanding of financial and capital markets. Strategic partnership forms the foundation for the relationship with Rabobank’s clients. The Senior Relationship Bankers and product specialists maintain contacts with the most senior levels of management at large multinationals, often including the company’s CEO, CFO and Supervisory Board members.

Large Corporates forms client teams in order to optimally align the offering to a client’s specific needs and requirements and to engage all of the relevant specialised entities within Rabobank and Rabo Securities in an efficient and flexible manner. This results in tailor-made solutions that integrate the bank’s broad spectrum of expert fields including corporate advisory, acquisition finance and hedging strategies. These strategic relationships often lead to extremely high-profile deals and transactions.

The Corporate Loan Relationship Managers offer fluent execution of credit and loans and credit related products. The professionals understand their clients funding needs and offer innovative and tailor-made funding solutions. Large Corporates is committed to be a centre of expertise in credit, also for other departments within Rabobank, and new products and credit solutions are continuously being developed. We usually aim for a leading role in structuring and book running loan transactions. Portfolio management is critical in the credit process.

Large Corporates furthermore taps into the leading expertise and information of the Industry Knowledge Team that brings together a group of top analysts that continuously develop and refine knowledge concerning key sectors, issues, clients and prospects. This wealth of knowledge generates substantial added value for both Large Corporates and all the other departments that make up Corporate Clients Netherlands. Relationship managers across the division are consequently able to leverage this sophisticated and insightful information to provide clients with advice at a strategic level.
