CSR Case Studies
We use a number of criteria to select the subjects of case studies. We consider the themes that emerge during the dialogue with shareholders in relation to the requirements we believe case studies should meet, such as relevance for customers, focus on dilemmas, current events, and relevance to CSR, before selecting case studies . Each case study was discussed with numerous stakeholders.
Dilemmas

Corporate Social Responsibility entails dilemmas. Do we issue loans to certain types of businesses or not? The Rabobank Ethics Committee makes recommendations about the ethical dilemmas that we face in providing services. The Committee bases its recommendations on the Rabobank Code of Conduct, as well as on external ethical standards to which it subscribes.
