The Rabobank Group deploys all forms of its financial services in order to add sustainable value for our customers and society.

This value creation means:

  • CSR is a part of our regular services and product responsibility. We follow the engagement approach, which means we discuss CSR issues with our business customers with a view to motivating them to introduce improvements. CSR plays an increasingly more important role in the investment services in order to provide customers with insight into the sustainability of our products and their portfolio.  
  • Our products and services provide businesses with access to standard financial services (via guarantee products or risk capital). We promote innovation and help solve environmental issues. In addition, we are taking steps to make our existing range more sustainable. This is being achieved through products and services such as the Rabo Climate Mortgage, the Rabocard with climate contribution and sustainable investment funds.  
  • We focus on customer satisfaction, complaint handling, duty of care, transparency, safety, advertising and privacy.  
  • We devote special attention to vulnerable groups in society, such as the elderly, people with reading difficulties and the disabled. We also ensure that we remain physically accessible by maintaining a sufficient number of contact points.
