At Rabobank, we are committed to serving the best interests of our clients. This means developing products that are transparent and easy to understand. We offer all manner of financial services that add sustainable value for clients – and for society as a whole.

Ways that we create value include:

  • Embedding CSR into our everyday services and products. We discuss CSR issues with our business clients and encourage improvements in areas such as the environment, society and good governance. We help investors make responsible decisions and build sustainable portfolios.
  • Opening up access for businesses to standard financial services such as bank guarantees or venture capital. In this way we help finance innovative solutions for environmental issues.
  • Making our own product range more sustainable. For example, we’ve introduced a  ‘climate mortgage’ or sustainable housing, a credit card that links purchases to offsetting CO2 emissions, and sustainable investment funds.
  • Improving the customer experience. We want our customers to be satisfied, so we pay great attention to our duty of care, being transparent, offering secure (digital) banking, maintaining privacy and handling complaints correctly.
  • Making banking easier for vulnerable groups such as the elderly, people with reading difficulties and the disabled. This is part of our commitment to making financial services accessible to all.
