Rabobank named Borrower and Financial Institution Issuer of the year

Leading capital markets publication International Financing Review (IFR) named Rabobank as The Borrower and Financial Institution Issuer of the Year.
The publication announced its 2007 evaluation in its December 15th issue comprising a detailed account of the award winners and the reasons why. The presentation of the awards will take place on January 14th, 2008 at the Grosvenor House in London.
Rabobank Nederland Head of Long Term Funding Michael Gower said, “This prestigious award is a testament to the strategic, professional and consistent approach which Rabobank has had to the capital markets in the many transactions which are executed week in week out.”
In addition to this award, Finance Asia also announced the Australasian Achievements Awards for 2007 and confirmed that Rabobank has been awarded with the ‘Best New Zealand Deal for 2007’ for its NZ$900 million Kiwi bond.
