Piet van Schijndel

Piet van Schijndel (1950) earned a doctorate in Business Administration from Eindhoven University of Technology in 1975. He began his career at Rabobank Nederland as a management consultant in the same year. He was then appointed Head of the Insurance and Travel Directorate in 1986. In 1990, he transferred to Interpolis where he was appointed a member of the Executive Board. He was subsequently appointed Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Executive Board in 1992 and 1998 respectively. He has served as a member of the Executive Board of Rabobank Nederland since 1 December 2002.
