RaboPCs
Rabobank Participation Certificates ("RaboPCs") are essentially warrants with an exercise price of close to zero which are expected to directly track the price of the basket of underlying shares. Holders of RaboPCs have full exposure to the underlying share price movements.
SGX-listed Participation Certificates are financial instruments which give investors the opportunity to participate in the full share price movement of securities listed on overseas exchanges. Participation Certificates “PCs” were first issued in Singapore by Rabobank International (“Rabobank”) in October 2006, and have since become a popular investment vehicle adopted by other banks in the region.
Rabobank is issuing a series of Taiwan-themed PCs and each PC will have a different basket of underlying shares, representing promising growth areas. The underlying shares in each basket are all high-quality stocks with good liquidity and a market cap of at least USD 400m (as of 30 May, 2008).
Participation Certificate baskets include:-
• Taiwan Transport and Tourism
• Taiwan Infrastructure
• Taiwan Domestic Demand
• Taiwan Electronics
Rabobank PCs offer investors a simple and cost-effective way in which to participate in Taiwan’s growth potential. The Taiwan domestic stock market has been one of the best performers in Asia-Pacific so far in 2008, and a variety of economic and political indicators continue to draw investor attention.
RaboPCs may appeal to investors who are familiar with participation certificates AND believe that Taiwan’s new economic policies could result in sustained economic growth in various Taiwanese sectors, including the component stocks in our PCs.

Investors should note that the RaboPCs ("PCs") are not a principled protected investment. Investors may sustain a partial or total loss of their investment.
