Growth prospects for the US solar PV market (June 2010)
The US PV market could eventually become one of the leaders in the global PV market. In 2010, however, the US market is not expected to show the same large growth figures seen in other developed PV markets in 2008 and 2009. Although the growth in the US market will be driven particularly by an increase in the residential and small-commercial market segments, large-scale PV is expected to grow significantly as well compared to previous years.
