Global Farmers Master Class
A global discussion to find innovative solutions to feed the world and combat global food security. The annual Global Farmers Master Class is a valuable resource for exchanging knowledge, best practices en experiences.
From the 17th of June till the 23th of June 2017, 22 farmers from around the world gathered in the Netherlands to talk about their various farming issues. The event is hosted by the Rabobank. The farmers had discussions and presentations on the strategic challenges they are facing, including strategic entrepreneurship, communication and storytelling, dairy deep dive and innovation. As well as talking to experts across the Food & Agri sector, class discussions, working groups, farm visits and case studies. The key learnings and experiences of the Global Farmers Master Class 2017 are included below.
Communication and storytelling
From June 17th to 23rd, farmers from all over the world gathered in the Netherlands for the sixth edition of the Rabobank Global Farmers Master Class.
Dairy Deep Dive
During the ‘Dairy Deep Dive’ program part, participants were given a ‘lay of the land’ in dairy and learned first-hand how downstream companies shape strategic partnerships to warrant sourcing.

During intensive Strategic Thinking sessions, participants were given the knowledge, tools, inspiration and peer-to-peer feedback to develop and gear up their strategies for the future.
