iDEAL is based on online banking and is only available for internet purchases within The Netherlands.

For security reasons, we do not provide balance and or payment information via e-mail. Rabo Internetbankieren (Rabo Online Banking), Rabofoon or you bank account statements provide you with the latest up dates on your account balance. There is also the possibility to check your actual balance on a Rabobank ATM.

Rabobank is a cooperative bank. Clients can become members of their local Rabobank. In turn, all local banks are a member and shareholder of the umbrella company, Rabobank Nederland. Therefore, Rabobank is not traded or listed on any stock exchange.

The fee depends on several aspects like currency, the amount, the country to where the money is transferred to. An international payment within the European Union takes 5 workdays. Please contact your local bank if the payment has been delayed.
International payments outside the European Union do not have time limit. This depends on the country to where the money is transferred to. Please contact your local bank for further information. In case you made an international payment to a Rabobank customer, please contact your bank. The bank which has commissioned the payment can provide you with further information.

IBAN stands for International Bank Account Number. The IBAN facilitates the automation of cross-border payment transaction processing. Each country has its particular national IBAN format. For more information about converting Dutch bank account numbers to an international bank account number go to www.ibannl.org. Your personal IBAN number is listed on your bank account statement and can be found via Rabo Internetbankieren (Rabo Online Banking).

The Rabobank group is a cooperative banking organisation comprised of Rabobank Nederland, Rabobank Nederland's local member credit institutions (local banks), and numerous specialised finance and other subsidiaries. Rabobank has a cross-guarantee system in place that links the local Member banks, Rabobank Nederland and Rabobank Nederland's specialised subsidiaries and provides for intra-Group credit support in the event of a shortfall in assets in one of the entities.

"Coöperatieve Centrale Raiffeisen-Boerenleenbank B.A." registered at the Chamber of Commerce in Utrecht (registr. nr. 30.046.259).   The trade name is Rabobank Nederland. 'Rabobank Group' is not a legal entity. It is the collection of the independent local Rabobanks within the Netherlands, together with the legal entity Rabobank Nederland and its subsidiaries such as Robeco and De Lage Landen. In the Dutch retail market, the name mostly used is just 'Rabobank'.  'Rabobank International' is a department within the legal entity Rabobank Nederland, referring to the branches and subsidiaries of Rabobank Nederland overseas.

Some subsidiaries, such as Robeco, publish their own figures, which can be downloaded from their own websites, but the consolidated financial statements of Rabobank Group include the financial information of Rabobank Nederland and the local banks, as well as the financial information of other group-entities. The assets, liabilities and results of these entities are consolidated in full.

Rabobank is rated AAA/A-1+ by S&P, Aaa/P-1 by Moody's and AA+ by Fitch. The outlook on all ratings is stable. For further details of Rabobank's ratings and downloadable external reports please refer to the rating reports section of Investor Relations site.

In 2006 Rabobank raised  over EUR 25 billion of long term funding in the capital market.
