Rabobank has been the main sponsor of the Royal Dutch Hockey Federation (KNHB) for more than ten years. The KNHB is one of the most well-organised sports federations in the Netherlands and is a prime example of a market-orientated organisation.
Rabobank’s hockey sponsorship focuses on the following core activities:
- National hockey teams that hold a top international position
- The Hockey Federation aims to organise a top international event in the Netherlands once a year. Rabobank is the federation's main sponsor.
- National women's and men's competition (Rabo Hoofdklasse, the Dutch Premier League).
