Is it a bird? A plane? Or Rabo Zeppelin!

For ten days this summer, the world’s largest, newest zeppelin with a big Rabo logo will be flying over the Netherlands. The airship symbolises sustainable mobility and will cruise the skies until September 7th.
There is a massive amount of public interest in this progressive aircraft, says the Director of Corporate Social Responsibility Bart Jan Krouwel. "The ‘boat in the sky’ is a quiet and clean mode of transportation that has the potential to take over activities from noisy airplane traffic that is also less environmentally friendly because of the high level of emissions."
"The zeppelin is the epitome of sustainable mobility. And this naturally suits Rabobank to a tee," says Krouwel.
The zeppelin cruiser will make its celebratory landing at Valkenburg airfield on Friday afternoon, 29 August. The ‘flying cigar’, which will be emblazoned with the Rabo logo, will remain in the Netherlands through 7 September. A range of activities will be held during this period including the World Port Days in Rotterdam, the Uitmarkt in Amsterdam and ‘Sustainability Tuesday’ in The Hague.
