Convergence in the Beverage Sector - May 2010

Changing consumer preferences and increasing retailer negotiating power have placed pressure on beverage companies operating margins and made it difficult for them to grow their revenues in recent years. Given the current dynamics in the international markets, beverage companies are expected to be more active in forming relationships outside their core segment to grow revenues and improve their operating efficiencies and overall strategic positioning.
