Rabobank partner Building Holland
Rabobank is a partner of Building Holland and main sponsor of the Innovation Challenge. In this way we want to boost innovation in the construction, installation and real estate sectors. In addition to sponsoring the Rabobank Innovation Challenge, Rabobank is also involved in the content program of Building Holland.
Rabobank considers it important that companies in the Building industry can grow through sustainability and technological innovations, so that they produce cheaper, deliver faster and sustainably build. In this way a better end product is created, which leads to a healthier return.
Innovation requires the taking of other roles by existing parties in the chain. Collaboration and sharing a shared vision for the future is also essential. Building Holland is facilitating. She is the knowledge and networking event that knows which issues there are in the sector. It connects parties to come up with innovative concepts and forms of cooperation.
"The distinctive character and the return of the construction and real estate sector is increasingly determined by the extent to which people are able to innovate and work together. By collaborating with Building Holland, we want to stimulate the construction sector to actively innovate in the fields of circularity, digitization and energy transition", says Roel van de Bilt, director of Rabo Real Estate Finance.
Come to Building Holland, the innovation event for the construction, installation and real estate sector from 9 to 11 April in RAI Amsterdam.
Rabobank substantive program
In addition to sponsoring the Rabobank Innovation Challenge, Rabobank is also involved in the content program of Building Holland. Click below for an overview. (At the moment we are still working on the programming of Building Holland, which means that not all times and venues are known yet.)
Rabobank Innovation Challenge
As a partner of Building Holland, Rabobank sponsors the Innovation Challenge Award. With this Award, Rabobank stimulates innovation throughout the entire chain. The construction sector is often still traditional, while the market is now demanding innovative solutions. Only with innovative and sustainable solutions throughout the entire chain can the construction sector contribute to the major social issues it faces. Roel van de Bilt: "a future-proof building sector contributes to a better Netherlands where prosperity and well-being go hand in hand."
Together with Building Holland we challenged organizations to make their Innovations known and to sign up for the Rabobank Innovation Challenge. This varies from new materials, products, production technologies, concepts and business models to complete propositions. New in 2019 is that an Award will be awarded in three categories: Digitization, Circularity and Energy Transition. The jury, which includes Leontien de Waal, will assess the registrations on impact, scalability, innovation level and customer value.
Rabobank Innovation Challenge 2019 nominations show high level
During the assessment, the jury looked, among other things, at the impact of the innovations at the moment that it actually scaled up. The jury also looked at the way in which and the ease with which upscaling can be achieved. Another important point is the customer value of the innovation. In other words: does the innovation respond to customer needs?
