Our sustainability approach
As an international cooperative bank, it is crucial for us that sustainability is guiding and increasingly integrated into Rabobank’s business activities and decision making.

Our sustainability approach in general
We use our sector expertise, global network and financial solutions to enable customers to future proof their activities, homes and businesses. In addition, we are committed to helping move the system in a more sustainable direction. This requires working towards a more resilient future that stays within planetary boundaries and is socially inclusive.

Everyone needs food and energy
Both our current food and energy systems strongly impact the planet, and we want to help accelerate the changes needed to make these systems more sustainable. We believe sustainably produced food and energy should become the norm - affordable, available, and accessible for everyone. Partnership with WWF
Rabobank and the World Wildlife Fund have been working together on nature and food issues in various ways since 2011.
