Closure of Rabobank’s India branch
Following a strategic review of our business in India, Rabobank Group announced on 15 November, 2021 the decision to close our banking operations in India, after more than two decades of Rabobank’s presence in the country. Following an orderly wind down of Rabobank's banking operations in India, the Reserve Bank of India approved the cancellation of the banking license of Coöperatieve Rabobank U.A., Mumbai Branch with effect from 24 June, 2026.
Transfer of Outstanding Authorised Dealer Responsibilities:
To facilitate the closure of our banking operations in India, Authorised Dealer responsibilities for all outstanding Bill of Entry, Trade Remittances and Shipping Bill transactions, which were pending closure under the Authorised Dealer Code of Rabobank's India Branch, were transferred to HDFC Bank Limited, with effect from 25 October, 2024.

कोऑपरेटिव राबोबैंक यू.ए., मुंबई शाखा का बंद होना:
भारत में अपने कारोबार की रणनीतिक समीक्षा के बाद, राबोबैंक ग्रुप ने 15 नवंबर, 2021 को भारत में अपनी बैंकिंग
गतिविधियां बंद करने का फैसला किया था । यह फैसला भारत में राबोबैंक की दो दशकों से ज़्या दा समय तक मौजूदगी के
बाद िलया गया।
भारत में राबोबैंक की सभी बैंकिंग गतिविधियों को व्यवस्थित तरीके से बंद होने के बाद, भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक ने 24 जून,
2026 से 'कोऑपरेटिव राबोबैंक यू.ए., मुंबई शाखा' का बैंकिंग लाइसेंस रद्द करने की मंज़ूरी दे दी।
प्राधिकृत व्यापारी (Authorised Dealer) ज़िम्मेदारियों का हस्तांतरण:
भारत में अपनी बैंकिंग गतिविधियों को बंद करने की प्रक्रिया को आसान बनाने के िलए, सभी बकाया 'बिल ऑफ़ एंट्री',
'ट्रेड रेिमटेंस' और 'िशपिंग बिल' ट्रांज़ैक्शन से जुड़ी प्राधिकृत व्या पारी ( Authorised Dealer) ज़िम्मेदारियों को HDFC
बैंक िलिमटेड को हस्तांतरित कर दिया गया है । ये ज़िम्मेदारियां राबोबैंक की भारत शाखा के अधिकृत डीलर कोड के तहत
बंद होने के िलए लंबित थीं और इनका हस्तांतरण 25 अक्टू बर, 2024 से प्रभावी है ।
