Utrecht, Netherlands - IFAD & Rabobank Partnerships hosted a successful webinar, “Unite to Unlock Inclusive Finance,” held on November 12 which was live broadcasted from Rabobank Headquarters in Utrecht, The Netherlands.

Rural area Latin America

The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and Rabo Partnerships have joined forces to execute the Inclusive Financial Ecosystem for Food Systems Transformation (IFE-FST) - a bold initiative aimed at bridging the financing gap for smallholder farmers in Asia and Latin America through National Development Banks (NDBs). Additionally, the initiative includes a knowledge dissemination component to share lessons learned with and between NDBs beyond the project scope.

The webinar served as a first platform to share these lessons, drawing nearly 300 registrations from more than 65 organizations worldwide, including leaders from National Development Banks (NDBs), governments, multilaterals, policymakers, and impact investors. This global turnout underscores the growing commitment to advancing financial inclusion and building resilient economies.

In the webinar participants have been inspired by how NDBs are driving financial inclusion globally and have seen scalable solutions for creating inclusive financial ecosystems. These insights aim to inspire new ideas and collaborative actions among stakeholders committed to unlocking opportunities for underserved communities.
