Based in the Netherlands, Suzanne Bijkerk works as a researcher Diversity, Equity and Inclusion & Entrepreneurship for the RaboResearch RISE team.

Prior to joining RaboResearch, Suzanne worked as an assistant professor at the Erasmus School of Economics. She taught courses on microeconomics, markets and organizations, and information economics. She conducted research in the area of discrimination, and communication. She has published in the Journal of Labor Economics and the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization. She was a visiting researcher at the economics department of Boston University in 2018.

Suzanne holds an MSc in Business Economics, and a PhD in Economics, both from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Suzanne is still affiliated as a visiting fellow to the Erasmus School of Economics.
