Global Daily: As US households light up their trees, government offices may go dark
US Congress is scrambling to reach a spending deal, after President-elect Trump effectively killed the draft bill that could find bipartisan support. Failing that, the lights in some government offices may go dark, at the time US households are lighting up their Christmas trees.
