We like to show that Rabobank's history is a story of people working together to build an extraordinary bank. The Rabo Museum, located in the Rabobank's former securities vault, uses objects, images and sounds to take you on a journey through the bank’s development.
What can be seen in the museum?
The introductory film tells the story of more than 115 years of Rabobank. This multimedia presentation combines film fragments, photographs and historical objects from the collection.
'People make Rabobank together: past, present and future', is the central theme of the exhibition. A wide variety of banking tools and objects ranging from piggy banks to computers are on display. The exhibition also features maps, cycling jerseys and old television commercials. The coin display case provides a fascinating glimpse into parts of the history of money. The emphasis is on coins that have been used on Dutch territory over the past two centuries.
The Rabo Museum regularly presents new themed exhibitions. The theme sometimes ties in with current events, while other temporary exhibitions focus on a specific historical topic.
