In October 2022 Wiebe Draijer will transfer the chairmanship of the Managing Board after his second term of office
Wiebe Draijer, chair of Rabobank’s Managing Board, has indicated he will not be available for a third term after his current term expires on October 1, 2022.
On October 1, 2014, Wiebe Draijer joined Rabobank’s Executive Board as chair. In September 2018, he was appointed for a second four-year term, which expires at the end of September next year. Draijer has now announced that he will transfer the chairmanship in October 2022: “I see the end of my second term as a natural opportunity to make room for a successor. Until then, I will continue to work for the cooperative Rabobank with dedication and commitment.”
Marjan Trompetter, chair of Rabobank’s Supervisory Board: “One year prior to the end of his term as chairman of the Managing Board, it is premature to look back on his years at Rabobank. However, a word of thanks for Wiebe’s dedication, commitment and involvement is entirely appropriate. He transformed Rabobank into a mission-driven, socially oriented and contemporary cooperative bank and he has given Rabobank a human touch as an inspiring and authentic leader. Wiebe’s early announcement gives us plenty of time to find a worthy successor.”
