Global table grape exports reached a new high of 4.6m metric tons in 2024/25, driven by strong growth from leading exporters Peru and China. This reflects the sector's evolving competitiveness and the potential for strategic repositioning.
The EU and US remain the largest importers, together accounting for 43% of global volume. Imports in these markets have grown steadily at an annual rate of 2% over both the past five and ten years.
Peru has surpassed Chile as the top global table grape exporter, but China is rapidly emerging as a contender, potentially reshaping the global landscape by the end of the decade.
