The US and Iran are reportedly close to signing a Memorandum of Understanding to end the war – again. Apparently, ‘all’ that’s needed is the signoffs of President Trump and the elusive Supreme Leader. The problem is variants of this have been claimed since early April, yet here we are in June with no progress. We now assume that Hormuz is likely to be out of normal action up to September.
