Testing files
Rabobank offers you the option to test your files using Swift MyStandards. By testing and comparing your import and export files against Rabobank’s specifications, you ensure compliance. This helps you save time and effort and prevents payment and direct debit orders from being rejected.
When is testing files important?
Testing files is important in many situations. For example, when you develop software that needs to read or create files. It’s also necessary to test files if you submit payment or direct debit files, or plan to do so. Additionally, use test files when importing files into your administration. This ensures that all data is processed correctly and completely.
Currently, there are two ways to test:
1. Via the Swift MyStandards Rabobank Community “Daily Business Banking”
2. For vendors of ERP or accounting software: use a personal MyStandards test portal if the community does not provide sufficient support.
Create a Swift account
First, create a Swift account if you do not already have one. After your account has been confirmed, select "Explore MyStandards." You do not need to link your account to an organization.

1. Testing via Swift MyStandards Rabobank Community
Anyone can view and test Rabobank’s ISO file formats through the Open Community on Swift MyStandards, including both current and future versions (2009 & 2019). This allows you to verify in advance whether payment and direct debit instructions can be processed correctly.
