Testing files

Rabobank offers you the option to test your files using Swift MyStandards. By testing and comparing your import and export files against Rabobank’s specifications, you ensure compliance. This helps you save time and effort and prevents payment and direct debit orders from being rejected.

When is testing files important?

Testing files is important in many situations. For example, when you develop software that needs to read or create files. It’s also necessary to test files if you submit payment or direct debit files, or plan to do so. Additionally, use test files when importing files into your administration. This ensures that all data is processed correctly and completely.

Currently, there are two ways to test:

1. Via the Swift MyStandards Rabobank Community “Daily Business Banking”

2. Via a personal MyStandards testing portal

1. Testing via Swift MyStandards Rabobank Community

Anyone can view and test Rabobank’s ISO file formats (2019 and later) via the Open Community on Swift MyStandards. This way, you can check in advance whether payment and direct debit orders can be processed correctly

1️⃣ Log in to MySwift (create an account first if necessary)
- If a new account is created, close MyStandards and log in again.

2️⃣ Go to ''My tools'' and select ''Products/MyStandards''


3️⃣ At the top of the screen, click ''Groups'' and then select ''Show more Groups''

4️⃣ Use the searchbar with the word ''Rabobank''

5️⃣ Select the tile with the Rabobank logo on it

6️⃣ Select ''Request access'' at the section ''Open Communities''.

7️⃣ Choose the portal ''Daily Business Banking

2. Request your own Rabo Testportal

Suppliers of ERP or accounting packages and customers who develop their own software can request a personal/customized test portal. To do so, send an email to ERP@rabobank.nl to schedule an intake.
