Erik van de Merwe will not run for a further term as commissioner
Erik van de Merwe has informed the Supervisory Board and the Executive Board that, due to health reasons, he will not run for a further term as member of the Supervisory Board. He will resign from his position as commissioner at the meeting of the Rabobank General Members Council on 14 September. Erik van de Merwe has been a Rabobank commissioner since June of 2010. He is also the president of the Risk Committee.
Wout Dekker, president of the Supervisory Board: “The Supervisory Board deeply regrets the imminent departure of Erik van de Merwe. We owe him a great debt of gratitude for his efforts on Rabobank’s behalf and he will be dearly missed now that he has decided, for health reasons, not to serve another term as commissioner. His broad knowledge and experience have been phenomenal assets for the bank. I wish him all the best.”
