Brazilian documentary changes our view on food waste

Over 30% of all food produced in the world doesn’t make it onto the plate. It gets lost in the system, during processing, transport or storage. Or is thrown away by consumers who buy more than they need. It’s crazy when you realize people are dying of hunger. In this documentary, economists, politicians, NGOs and bankers urge the need for change to tackle waste in Brazil. This video shows the trailer of the full documentary: Culture of Waste (Cultura do Desperdício). Made by Rabobank Brazil and the Ministry of Culture.
